product overview
HOBO U24-002-C is a new conductivity recorder developed by ONSET, which is used to measure relatively small changes (± 5000 μ S/cm) in salinity, conductivity and temperature in the seawater environment, such as the bay of seawater, or detect salinity events such as surge, rainstorm and discharge events. It can also be used to collect salinity content data during the salinity compensation of dissolved oxygen recording data in HOBO U26.
Attention: Beyond the water area+Monitoring salinity changes at a rate of -5000 us/cm, please refer to the accuracy shown in product specification scenario C to determine if the accuracy is acceptable for your needs. Monthly on-site calibration readings typically require optimal accuracy.
productcharacteristic
Non contact sensors have a longer service life;
Easy access to sensors for cleaning and removing air bubbles;
The two user selectable ranges are fromMeasurement at a rate of 100 to 55000 USD/cm;
Polyoxymethylene resin shell is resistant to seawater corrosion;
HOBOware Pro software allows for start/end point calibration to compensate for any dirt and provides easy conversion to specific conductivity, salinity using the Practical Salt Standard 1978 (PSS-78)
USB data optical interface, faster connection to computer to read recorded salinity data, and compatible with HOBO waterproof data collector U-DTW-1 for convenient and reliable data retrieval and transmission
